The first thing I did not just open the box / baggy was a drop in this thing across the tile floor and on the step, until I tried to hunt it down.
I was so worried that I have even scratched ring on my hand, despite all the reports, saying that it is next to never scratches, but when I picked this sucker up and polished it up again it was as shiny as it was, as it spilled from the little baggy it came in just a mark on the proud "tungsten carbide" printed on the inside, and itbarely visible. It's nicer than expected, especially with regard to weight. And damn, it's so shiny.

EDIT: First I bought was a gift. One of them had given me a special someone then. Ring is certainly worth the price instead opts for a "romantic" expensive gold and diamonds, which might dent or come loose with time, it is a simple, durable and cost effective not to mention quite a way to put the ring finger. Save $ $ and buy your sweety something theycan be used. If they are offended by your cunning alternative materials at low cost and accuse you a cheap, maybe you should find someone more logical. Hehe.
